Abstract:
The Domain Name System (DNS) is a critical Internet infrastructure and
the largest distributed Internet directory service. To guarantee the availability
of Internet services and secure it, it is important for the Networking
professionals to understand the advanced concepts of DNS, configuration,
operations and security. The course is designed for network engineers,
network planners, systems administrators and anyone who is involved in
administering Network Operation Centres.
Prerequisites:
It is assumed that participants have a good understanding of networking
fundamentals and basic knowledge of Unix/Linux.

Non-APNIC member : THB 22,000
Objectives:
Provide the participants with in depth technical information on advanced
concepts of DNS, configuration, operations and security.

- Reverse DNS

- DNSSEC
- Secured dynamic updates
These modules consist of presentations, hands-on sessions, and lab exercises.
By the end of the workshop, all participants will have an understanding
of:
- The architecture of DNS
- How to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DNS
- Secure DNS
